一、考试范围

初中三年所学内容(以人教版新目标Go For It为纲，词汇量及难度相当于中考)。

二、考试内容及要求

1. 能理解或掌握初中英语基础语法，并能在一定的语言环境中应用。

2. 能读懂有关生活话题的并含有一定量生词（10%左右）的文字材料（如：公告、说明、广告等）及书报杂志中关于一般性话题的短文。能根据上下文推断生字的词义，理解语篇大意，获取有关信息，并能对文章作一般性的推理和分析。

3. 能正确拼写和运用所学单词。

4. 能在有各种形式提示的情况下写出150个词左右的各种形式的文字材料，要求主题鲜明，语言正确，行文流畅，书写规范。考试要求分三个层次，从低到高依次为识记、理解和运用，分别以字母A、B和C表示。其含义表述如下：

1. 识记（A级）

对知识的记忆和识别。如：

(1) 记住已学常用单词、词组的拼写和其基本含义;

(2) 记住初中英语中相关语法结构的用法。

2. 理解（B级）

对知识的领会、理解和迁移。如：

(1) 理解单词、词组在英语句子及短文中的确切含义；

(2) 理解常用习语在不同语言环境中的确切含义；

(3) 理解在语言交流活动中的文化特征；

(4) 理解所读语言材料的表层含义。

3. 运用（C级）

能运用所学的语言知识解决问题，并能进行有效的语言交际活动。如：

(1) 能听懂说话者的要求，并根据指令完成某项任务；

(2) 能较熟练地运用所学的日常交际用语，能运用一定的交际策略避免交际活动的失败；

(3) 能理解所读语言材料的主旨和深层含义；

(4) 能在不同的语言材料中综合运用所学的词汇和语法知识；

(5) 能根据特定的语言环境和所给的信息（如照片、图画、表格、文字提示等）完成某些交际活动。

三、考试方式和试卷结构

1. 考试方式

(1) 考试采用闭卷、书面笔答方式。试卷称“杭州第四中学（国际部）招生考试”。试卷由试题卷和答题纸两部分组成。考生必须根据各题型的具体要求，正确填涂答题纸和在答题纸的相应位置用蓝黑钢笔或圆珠笔书写答案；

(2) 本试卷不进行听力考试；

(3) 整卷满分220分，考试时间为120分钟。

2. 试卷结构

(1) 试题卷中选择题和非选择题相结合，选择题占 160 分， 非选择题占60 分。
