这个月三选一类的题目较多，大家不要忘记比较类题型的核心要点：比较对象一个都不能少。但今天我们分析重点的是一道出现频率相对较低、但偏题频率较高的一道一般类独立写作题。2021年3月托福写作真题：关键词要看清。

首先我们来认识一下这道题。

乍一看是不是觉得很普通，普通到让我们瞬间信心大增？城市近些年来的迅速增长对于社会大体来说是不是一件积极的好事？似乎不论是同意还是反对都有很多理由关键词可以脱口而出：经济、科技、教育、环境、健康……

但能迅速想到关键词并不一定意味着你能够轻松搞定这道题。首先我们来看一下两个中文段落，你觉得哪个版本更适合这道题呢？

版本1
城市发展会使空气质量恶化。一方面，城市挤满了高楼大厦，这些大厦会侵占原本可以用来绿化的区域。因此绿色植物对空气的净化作用难以发挥，从而会导致城市空气质量下降。另一方面，城市中私家车、巴士等交通数量庞大，每天都会排放成千上万吨尾气，这无疑会进一步降低城市的空气质量。……

版本2
城市的迅速发展会使空气质量恶化。一方面，城市的扩张需要建设很多办公空间，这导致城市会被更多高楼大厦挤满。而且，过快的发展速度很可能会导致绿化工程的速度跟不上，因此绿色植物对空气的净化作用难以发挥，从而会导致城市空气质量下降。另一方面，过快的城市发展会导致市中心房价陡增，人们无法负担从而纷纷逃往较偏远的郊区，因而上下班通勤、日常出行都会更依赖私家车、巴士等交通工具，which会排放成千上万吨尾气，这无疑会进一步降低城市的空气质量。……

乍一看这两个版本区别不大，但是比较之下我们会发现版本2有充分回应题干中的“rapid growth”，版本1其实论证的是“城市中国空气质量很糟糕。”

所以审题一定要看清关键词，再简短的题干也不要掉以轻心。
