不可否认，去周边大型商场购物对城市和个人都有好处。

首先，可以缓解城内交通拥堵问题。大家去周边购物的话就减少了在城里通勤购物的数量，从而很大程度上避免了交通拥堵。

其次，在综合大商场购物也给顾客提供更多的购买选择，更方便。大家可以在一个地方买全想买的东西，而不需要四处跑。

但是，长久看来还是会有很大的问题。

1. 很多没有私家车的居民购物会很不方便，就算可以做地铁等交通工具，购物回来也需要提很多重物。

2. 对于日常生活用品的购买不方便。如果城里的小商店都关闭的话，买东西都要到很远的地方。

3. 私家车的数量增加不仅会增加交通堵塞的概率，也会增加二氧化碳排放，空气质量也会下降。
