Describe an event where you did not enjoy its music.
You should say:
What the event was
What kind ofmusic it was
What did you do after you heard the music
And explain why you did not enjoyed the music

An event that I have experienced where I did not enjoy its music happened when my mom asked me to join the square dancing with her. The square dancing is an exercise routine performed to music in squares, parks and plazas. It is extremely popular among middle-aged and retired women who have been referred to as “dancing grannies” by some western media. Most of time, my mom danced with these dancers after dinner and sometimes they would even dance until midnight. The music they played was so loud that it could be ear-splitting. As for what kind of music it was, I felt that most of them were pop and sometimes it would be jazz or country music.

When it comes to what I did after being exposed to the music, honestly I was annoyed by the noise and soon escaped from the crowds. Afterwards, I told my mom that I would never go to the square with her again. Regarding the reasons why I did not enjoy the music, for one, I was the kind of person who could be easily influenced by the environment. The loud sounds with strong beats could make me feel quite anxious. In addition, I could not dance and I was not interested in being part of the square dancers. So there is no reason for me to stay there to be disturbed by the high volume of such musical accompaniment.
